» The Michele d'Innellla award goes to Donato Lanati!
Award established in memory if the editorial director who died prematurely
Wine is pleasure, culture, economy, the companionship of ones fellow man: in short, wine is a part of history. To achieve excellence we must combine scientific thoroughness, respect for tradition and love of the land. Donato Lanati is the man who has managed to unite all these elements, while being attentive to the characteristics of the grape varietals and the wine growing areas in which they are cultivated. He has been defined as ‘the scientific winemaker’ and has been awarded the D'INNELLA prize.
